On April 1, students in the Specialist High Skills Major ICE (Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship) program at Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Grimsby held a training day for a program they have been working on with the Niagara River Lions basketball team.

Students were asked to come up with more creative ways for the team to advertise sponsors in the arena, so the class took a trip to a game to observe the atmosphere and sponsorship. After that, students spent a day brainstorming ways to better acknowledge sponsors.

Following the workshop, the students gave their “elevator pitches” to the team. The videos will be reviewed and considered by the team.
