Kids Helping Kids Raises More than $33,000

Niagara Catholic’s 24th Annual Kids Helping Kids fundraiser ran from February 14-25. Funds raised in this two-week event jointly support the Niagara Children’s Centre, and the Niagara Foundation for Catholic Education.

For the uninitiated, Kids Helping Kids is a fun-filled fortnight filled with spirit-building activities, such as wacky hair day, jersey day, and other engaging activities. Throughout this year’s Kids Helping Kids campaign, schools celebrated the 100th day of school by dressing up as 100-year-olds and did number games based on the number 100, celebrated the Olympics by participating in outdoor Olympic games and marked Valentines’ Day by sending cards to a nearby nursing home.

In all, $33,428 was raised.
