Seminar
Brings Together The
Partners In Catholic Education
| Niagara Catholic
District School Board will be hosting its annual Partners in Catholic
Education Seminar on Wednesday, May 4th at the Doubletree Resort and Lodge
in Niagara Falls. The theme of this year’s Seminar is “Catholic
Education: Being The Body of Christ”.
Chairs of the Board’s
Catholic School Councils, Parish Priests and the School Principals will
join trustees and senior staff at the Seminar. “This is an ideal
opportunity to bring the partners of our educational triad, home, school
and Church, together to celebrate Catholic education. We plan this event
as part of our Catholic Education Week celebrations,” said
Angelo Di Ianni, Director of Education.
Guest speaker will
be Monsignor Dennis Murphy. His address will focus on the Catholic education
community and the necessity to deepen the sense of community among all
of the partners in Catholic education. Monsignor Murphy, who has a doctorate
from the University of Ottawa, has published many articles on Catholic
Education.
