In what has become an annual tradition at Niagara Catholic, several schools participated in the annual Packs of Hope campaign, led by Wells of Hope.
This year, approximately 1,000 backpacks were filled with items for families in need in Jalapa, Guatemala. Items in the backpacks included school supplies, toys and hygiene products.
On Sunday, November 12, volunteers met at the Wells of Hope warehouse to sort through the donations, ensuring everything was suitable for shipping, and to stuff the packs.
Thank you to all those who donated items, and to those who gave up a beautiful Saturday to pack the backpacks.
The backpacks will be shipped to Guatemala and are expected to arrive in time for Christmas.Good News, Media Stream
