On November 18, 184 students in Grades 6-12 participated in the Board’s annual Student Voice Conference, Lead Out Loud.
This year’s event encouraged students to become social changemakers by fighting against prejudice and stereotypes to create a world of equity and inclusion.
The event was led by Niagara Catholic Student Senate. This year’s guest speakers and workshop leaders were from Harmony Movement, which seeks to empower young people and adults to create a sense of community.
The day was energizing and empowering for those who attended. They will bring back these positive messages and share them with their schools.
