Thousands of Niagara residents packed the streets in downtown St. Catharines on September 27th for the 63rd annual Niagara Wine Festival Grande Parade. Niagara Catholic had dozens of students on hand for the celebration, including the Blessed Trinity Catholic Secondary School Drumline, floats from city’s three Catholic high schools – Denis Morris Catholic High School, Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School and Saint Francis Catholic Secondary School – and the Saint Michael Catholic High School drumline, which marched with the Niagara Catholic entry. We also had mascots on hand from Saint Michael, Saint Paul Catholic High School and Notre Dame College School.
Once again, it was a fantastic show of Catholic education, and we are grateful to the many people who worked so hard to make this such a resounding success. Thank you to the many parents who ensured their children were in town in time to participate in the parade, and thanks to God for the beautiful early autumn day!
