On March 18, 2002, students moved from Our Lady of Grace School, Ridgeway to their new school, St. George Catholic Elementary School. The Official Blessing took place on April 22nd.

Our school name was supported by our community and Catholic School Council. The school shares the name of the local parish of St. George.
