FRENCH IMMERSION
The goal of French Immersion is to develop students who confidently and competently communicate in English and French. This is accomplished by teaching most of the curriculum in French. In the elementary French Immersion program, at least 50 percent of all instruction is provided en français.
Transportation
Transportation is available to students participating in a French Immersion program in their Family of Schools.
Transportation is provided and managed by Niagara Student Transportation Services.
Registration
Online Registration - Elementary
French Immersion is available at five Catholic elementary schools from kindergarten through Grade 8. Online registration for families new to the program typically takes place from mid-January to early February. French Immersion is very competitive. Please create an Ensembli account before registration opens to ensure you are ready when registration begins.
Each registration receives a time-stamp. Applications will not be accepted after registration closes. Students are registered for French Immersion according to the date and time of their registration until all spaces are filled. All other applicants will be placed on a waitlist.
Families will be notified by the school if their child has been accepted or added to the waitlist.
