Niagara Catholic International Co-operative Experience (NCICE)

The International Co-operative Experience provides Niagara Catholic students with a unique opportunity to earn four co-operative education credits and three academic credits, all while experiencing another culture.

During the semester-long program, students have various co-op options to choose from. Past experiences in Dominica included: assisting classroom teachers in the preparation, delivery and assessment of curriculum at St John’s Catholic Elementary School; assisting registered nurses in the daily care of the residents of the Northern District Home for the Aged (the Grange); organizing a literacy club run out of the Portsmouth Library; or helping professional educators teach life skills to the students of the Centre where Adolescents Learn to Love and Serve (CALLS).
