Saint Michael Catholic High School received the United Way’s David May Memorial Award for outstanding commitment to the organization.

Every year, the United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie awards the David May Memorial Award to a school in Niagara Falls or Fort Erie for its outstanding United Way participation.

During the agency’s Annual General Meeting on June 3 at Legends on the Niagara, Saint Michael Catholic High School was recognized with the Award, for the many ways in which Saint Michael students and staff support the United Way, and its member agency, The Boys and Girls Club of Niagara, each year.

Saint Michael Catholic High School Principal Jim Whittard was joined by students and staff to receive the award from Board President Tammy Sweeney.

Last year, the organization broke with tradition and presented it to Niagara Catholic.
