Students Get Hands-On Experience on the Farm

Students in Notre Dame College School’s Specialist High Skills Major Program turned out at Hollo Maple Farms in Pelham on Wednesday, to plant fruit trees on the property.

Niagara Catholic has a strong relationship with Hollo Maple Farms, which provides much of the produce students pick, can and donate to local food banks in the fall. Construction students have built a hut for the produce to be sold and, this week, it was all about planning fruit trees on the farm, to grow more produce for donation and sale.
