Trustees Recognize High-Achieving Students at Committee of the Whole Meeting
It’s an annual tradition at Niagara Catholic: Each year, during the final Committee of the Whole Meeting, Trustees recognize students who have esteemed themselves at the provincial and national level for academics, arts and athletics.

- Denis Morris Catholic High School rowers (in white shirts) and Special Olympians from Denis Morris Catholic High School.
- Denis Morris Catholic High School’s Cody Crumb (left) and Yaman Abouibaid, who were recognized for their accomplishments in technology. Cody won a Gold in Brick Masonry at Skills Ontario, and Yaman won a Silver in Website Design at the Skills Ontario competition in May.
- Representing the Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School hockey and lacrosse teams.
- Students from Saint Francis Catholic Secondary School who were honoured for their track and field and rowing accomplishments.
- Saint Michael Catholic High School students who were recognized at the Committee of the Whole Meeting. At left are the members of the Senior Women’s Quad rowers who won Gold at the Schoolboy Regatta, and, at right, Nicholas Ierfino, who won a Gold Medal in Electronics at Skills Ontario and a Silver at Skills Canada in Winnipeg.
