Niagara Catholic most often communicates with families by email. This is to share important information about your child’s school or the Board.
Schools also communicate with parents by email. This includes sharing information about events or activities, including:
- Fundraising events
- Special lunch days
- Field trips
- School fairs
- School pictures
- Yearbook sales
- Ordering spirit wear
These messages are covered under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation, which allows people to opt out of commercial messaging. Parents may complete the opt-out form through their School Cash Online account.
Families will continue to receive messages about school information nights, parent-teacher interviews and other non-commercial events. They will also receive emergency messaging and absence alerts through the Safe Arrival attendance system.
