Hi, and welcome to Niagara Catholic! We are so happy that you're considering a Niagara Catholic education for your child.

Did you know that you can register your child at a Niagara Catholic elementary or secondary school online, anytime? Whether you’re new to Niagara or new to your neighbourhood, you can move your child into a Niagara Catholic school quickly and easily online. Read on for more information.

 

All students are expected to attend their home school - that is, the school associated with your address. If you're not sure which school that is, please click here and enter your address to find out which school your child should attend and if they are eligible for transportation. 

 

Children who have been baptized into the Catholic Church, or non-Catholic children with a Catholic parent, are entitled to attend a Catholic elementary school in Ontario. Your child's baptismal record, or a parent's, is required for a Catholic registration. 

 

Niagara Catholic accepts non-Catholic students at a principal's discretion as space is available. If you are non-Catholic and wish to register your child at one of our Catholic elementary schools, please contact your the school to discuss the registration with the principal. 

 

Students do not need to be Catholic to attend a Niagara Catholic high school. 

If you haven't already, we encourage you to learn all about Niagara Catholic by going through this website. If you've done that and you're ready to register your child at one of our schools, thank you! We are very grateful to the parents who entrust their child's education to Niagara Catholic. 

The first stage of registration is done online through the Edsembli online registration portal. You will have to create an account and then follow the instructions to begin the application. When the online application is complete, please visit the school to complete the registration in person. To complete the in-person registration you will need:

  • Your child's birth certificate
  • Your child's baptism record (or one parent's)
  • Proof of address (using a current rental/purchase agreement, tax bill or utility bill that shows your home address)
  • Proof of custody (if applicable)

Please do not send these documents via email. 

Instructions for Creating an Online Registration Account

1.     Enable Pop-Ups: Before you begin, please ensure that pop-ups are enabled in your browser settings. This is necessary for the registration process to work smoothly.

2.     Create Account:

·         Go to the Online Registration page.

·         Click on the Create Account button.

1.     Enter Your Details:

·         First Name: Enter your first name.

·         Last Name: Enter your last name.

·         Email Address: Provide a valid email address.

·         Password: Create a secure password for your account.

2.     Confirmation message

·         After entering your details, a message will pop up on the screen indicating that an email has been sent to activate your account.

3.     Activate Your Account:

·         Check your email inbox for the activation email.

·         Follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.
