The Niagara Catholic District School Board ranks among the top 10 out of 60 English-language school boards in Ontario for four-year graduation rates. Niagara Catholic’s four-year graduation rate in 2023 (the most current year available) was 89.2%, more than five per cent higher than provincial average. Niagara Catholic’s five-year graduation rate was 92.8%, five per cent higher than the provincial average.
To earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), students need specific compulsory credits and optional credits, pass the literacy requirement, earn at least 2 online learning credits and complete a minimum of 40 hours of community involvement activities.
