WOW!
What an incredible showcase of talent by nearly 200 elementary students from across Niagara Catholic April 27, as they stepped onto the stage at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines for massed choir performance.
The joyful performance capped off a month of learning and practicing by students, including two full days as a group as well as smaller rehearsals and individual practices, as part of Choirs Ontario’s SingOntario Choral Outreach Project.
Under the direction of conductors Amanda Nelli and Dr. Jamie Hillman, the students brought four incredible songs to life.
Families, school staff, and other guests at the concert were blown away by the students’ energy and talent.
Thank you to Niagara Catholic’s Arts, Social Sciences, and Student Leadership consultant Teri Cristelli, for coordinating this with Choirs Ontario and bringing this fantastic opportunity to our students.
