The Education, Quality, and Accountability Office (EQAO) has released the board and provincial results for primary and junior assessments in reading, writing, and mathematics, the Grade 9 mathematics assessment, and the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) for 2024-2025.
Niagara Catholic’s 2024-2025 elementary results continue to exceed the provincial averages in all areas. They also represent improvement over our results from 2023-2024. Results for students writing the Grade 9 mathematics assessment and the Grade 10 Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) who successfully completed the assessment on their first attempt also exceeded the provincial average and remain steady compared to the board’s results in 2023-2024.
Minister of Education Paul Calandra has written a letter to parents regarding the provincewide EQAO results. Parents and guardians received this through School Messenger.
