Beginning in 1978, the Brock-Niagara French Contest/le Concours de français Brock-Niagara provides a unique opportunity for upper-grade high school students to participate in the annual French contest.  

This year 40 students from across six of Niagara Catholic secondary schools demonstrated their French language skills through a variety of activities. 

Students were challenged on different interactive language activities developed to test language proficiency and received a guided tour throughout the campus where the activities took place. Students participated in an escape room, French culture trivia, researching at the Brock library and created a skit at the campus store. This was a great way for our secondary students to get used to life on campus and the post-secondary experience. At the end of the activity students enjoyed a luncheon before proceeding to the Award Ceremony, during which the highest student achievers were recognized.
