
Sam Dino’s pathway to her final destination for post secondary soccer began a few months ago at a talent identification camp in Buffalo.
Bluefield State University in West Virginia wasn’t at the identification camp in person but was following the tournament on-line. About a week after the camp ended, the Grade 12 student at Saint Paul received an email from NCAA Division 2 Bluefield.
“It was pure excitement. Obviously any kid who plays a sport dreams of a moment like that,” the 18-year-old Niagara Falls resident said. “I was so excited and so honoured that I would be getting an opportunity to do it.”
