The Lakeshore Catholic Gators senior girls volleyball team made it four straight Niagara Catholic Athletic Association AA titles last week with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-20 and 25-16) victory over the Holy Cross Raiders.

After beating Blessed Trinity in the final game of the regular season to finish first in the Catholic league with a 6-1 record, the Gators advanced to the final with a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-17 and 25-20) over the Saint Paul Patriots.

Coach Tish Badawey-Snider attributes the team’s Catholic four peat to its experienced players.

“Lexi Snider, Taylor Namtzu and Camryn Koabel have been playing club ball for quite a few years and definitely contribute to the team’s success. They are great athletic leaders who take the time to help the other girls with the plays and rotations.”
