Niagara Catholic District School Board

Niagara Catholic is pleased to share that Matteo Volpini, Blessed Trinity Class of 2026, will enter the University of Guelph on a $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship in September. 

Matteo was one of 100 Canadian graduating high school student to receive the prestigious scholarship, selected from more than 1,300 nominees and is one of two students entering Guelph in its inaugural year as a Schulich school. He is also one of only two Niagara students selected to receive a Schulich Leaders Scholarship this year. 

He is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program, with a focus on global food sustainability and supporting Canadian farmers.
