Niagara Catholic District School Board

Niagara Catholic proudly congratulates, Jeff Maxwell, Niagara Catholic’s Technology-Enabled Learning and Teaching Consultant. Jeff represents Niagara Catholic on the Ontario eLearning Consortium (OELC) and was honoured by the organization with the Improving Online Learning and Teaching Award for his efforts in supporting online learning at Niagara Catholic and across the province. 

Jeff has also worked with Catholic Virtual Ontario to support the development of new Catholic content and resources to support Catholic online learning.  He received the award at the OELC dinner in Toronto May 7.

 
The following day, Jeff was recognized at Catholic Curriculum Corporation Annual General Meeting in Toronto. Jeff has chaired the Information Communications and Technology group for the past three years. This group has worked to identify how school boards can address emerging technologies, focused on identify how educators can approach these new technologies through a Catholic lens.

Niagara Catholic is fortunate to have staff like Jeff who find innovative ways to support student engagement and learning.
