Each year Niagara Catholic nominates a kindergarten team that embraces all children as curious, capable, and competent within their kindergarten program to be recognized by the Early Childhood Community Development Centre (ECCDC).
This year, the kindergarten team from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Elementary School in Grimsby received an Award of Excellence from the ECCDC at its annual Awards of Excellence Celebration at Club Roma Thursday, November 28.
Director of Education Camillo Cipriano credited the recipients of this year’s ECCDC’s Award of Excellence.
“I am so pleased and proud to congratulate the kindergarten team at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Elementary School in Grimsby for this outstanding honour,” said Director Cipriano. “Under the leadership of Our Lady of Fatima principal Rosie Araujo, this team, which includes kindergarten teachers Lori Borsodi, Sherry Barlow, Kelly DiTomasso, Shelley James, and Josie Trivieri, and early childhood educators Mary Krushelnicki, Diane Littler, and Katherine Grobelny- Manson.
