The Niagara Catholic Athletic Association senior football playoffs started early Wednesday for the Denis Morris Reds and the visiting Saint Paul Patriots.

The winner of their final regular season game would claim the fourth and final playoff spot with a 2-3 record while the loser would end up out of the playoffs with a 1-4 mark.

“I am really proud of the effort my guy showed today,” said Denis Morris head coach Steve Roach said, after his team recorded a 22-0 win over the visiting Patriots. “They communicated really well and fought hard on both sides of the ball.”
