The Denis Morris Reds boys field lacrosse team came one win shy of an undefeated season and an Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations A/AA gold medal Tuesday.

The second-seeded Reds defeated Aldershot 21-2 and St. Mary’s 16-4 Monday before advancing to the gold medal match with a 12-4 victory over the defending OFSAA silver medalist Governor Simcoe Redcoats in the semifinals Tuesday. In the final, Denis Morris fell 9-3 to McKinnon Park.
