Niagara Catholic Student Among 26 “Young Citizens” to Attend Canada History Youth Forum in Ottawa

Congratulations to Bethany Poltl, a Grade 9 student at St. Paul Catholic High School in Niagara Falls, has earned a spot at the Canada History Youth Forum in Ottawa in October. She is one of two Ontario students, and one of 26 students from across the country, selected to receive this prestigious honour.

Bethany was recognized for her outstanding project on Women’s College Hospital, which earned top honours at Niagara Catholic’s Heritage Fair in April. She then progressed to the provincial event. A combination of online votes and her score at the provincial competition earned her the opportunity to represent Niagara Catholic in the national capital.
