Oh baby! Celebrating the Class of 2036 at our Annual Baby Day

It’s one of the most treasured day at the Catholic Education Centre – our annual Baby Celebration (known here as simply Baby Day), the day in January when we bring together the babies born in the previous 12 months (and their parents) together for a morning of songs and socializing.

This year, we had approximately 25 babies and their mums attend the event, which is hosted in partnership with the EarlyON Centre. Thank you to EarlyOn Co-ordinator Donna Dalgleish for providing books and bibs for each of our little ones, as well as the mats and toys and an Early Childhood Educator to stimulate the little ones.

We are also grateful to Monique Mastrioanni’s parenting students at Notre Dame College School for providing extra pairs of hands so the mums could enjoy a coffee and snack while their babies played.

A few fun facts – this year, girls outnumbered boys by about 7:1. Our oldest baby turns one in late January, and our youngest one was born in November.
