The Niagara Catholic District School Board believes that we are all life-long learners. Our teachers and board staff regularly participate in ongoing professional development, which support our multi-year strategic plan and our core purpose – encountering souls and opening minds so that all students succeed..
Staff participate in this learning after school, throughout the summer, and on Professional Development Days to ensure they are best prepared to support 21st century learners.
There are nine Professional Activity Days in the 2026-2027 school year:
- September 2 (Elementary and Secondary)
- September 3 (Elementary and Secondary)
- October 26 (Elementary and Secondary)
- November 27 (Elementary and Secondary)
- January 15 (Elementary)
- January 29 (Secondary)
- April 30 (Elementary and Secondary)
- June 4 (Elementary)
- June 30 (Secondary)
Information about each PA Day will be shared no later than two weeks before the scheduled day.
