Welcome to Summer, 2025 at Niagara Catholic!
Summer is finally here, and we hope everyone enjoys the change of pace filled with longer days, stay-up-later nights, and, for many lucky parents, no lunches to pack!
All Niagara Catholic schools are closed for the summer, but the Catholic Education Centre remains open. We hope this page will give you the information you need over the summer.
Hours of operation:
Open Mondays to Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Closed Canada Day (July 1) and Fridays.
Our annual summer shutdown begins when the Catholic Education Centre closes July 24. The Catholic Education Centre will reopen on August 12 at 8:30 a.m.
The CEC will close at 1 p.m. August 22 and 29.
Our reception desk is closed from 12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. daily during the summer.
Registration information
Parents and guardians can register students online anytime at Niagara Catholic. Please click here to learn more about who can register at a Niagara Catholic school, what documents are needed, and to begin the registration process.
All students are expected to attend their home school. If you are unsure which school is your child’s home school, please click here to check. Out of boundary requests must be made through the home school and approved by the home school and out of boundary school principals and family of schools’ superintendent of education. Transportation
NSTS has updated the Parent Portal to provide a more secure, accurate, and user-friendly experience. You can now log in to view preliminary transportation details for the 2025–2026 school year, including:
- School and grade
- Home and pick-up/drop-off addresses (if applicable)
- Option to Opt-in or Opt-out of transportation.
Final transportation details will be available on Thursday, August 28, 2025
Staff at NSTS also understand you may want to contact them so here are a few suggestions:
- Sign-in to the NSTS parent portal and view the transportation arrangements made for your child(ren) is a great way to start
- Send an email to [email protected] – a convenient way to contact them and reduces playing phone tag.
- Call NSTS at 905-357-6787 to speak with a representative.

Missing a Student in the Portal?
If a child does not appear in your NSTS portal account, please contact the school to confirm that your email is:
· Listed as a Contact 1 or Contact 2
· Spelled correctly (matches your Portal log-in)
Just Want Bus Delay Notifications?
You don’t need an NSTS portal account to get route updates. Anyone including caregivers, family or friends can download the free BusPlanner Delays App from the Apple Store or Android Store to receive real-time route notifications.

Report cards
Report cards are issued through our Edsembli platform. Parents were encouraged in late June to please check to ensure they had access to the portal before schools closed so passwords could be reset before school-based staff began summer vacations.
Password resets are only available through your child’s school. Central staff do not have access to student information. Password resets can be done by clicking on Request a Password Change after you enter your email in the username field and click login. Please do not send your child’s personal information, such as name, date of birth, or OEN via email.
If you are unable to access your child’s report card over the summer, please visit help.niagaracatholic.ca. Select your child’s school from the drop-down menu, fill in the form, and it will be sent to your child’s school, and someone will assist you when school offices reopen.
