Dear Niagara Catholic students, staff, and families,
Wow! Look at the time! Weren’t we just celebrating the last day of school a couple of weeks ago? Time sure flies when you’re having fun.
As I said in my message in the spring, summer is fleeting. I hope you spent those precious days doing the things you love with the people you love.
And now, we’re back at school!
Welcome back to our returning students, and a very warm welcome to the new students attending one of our Niagara Catholic elementary or secondary schools. Whether you are starting school for the first time, or are joining us later, we are very happy you joined us and are pleased to have you as part of the Niagara Catholic family!
In education, we’re lucky to be able to celebrate two “new years,” and I don’t know which one I look forward to more. The start of a new school year is a little bit like opening a new book for the first time. You dive in with excitement, eager to find out what comes next. Happily, this book is a choose-your-own-adventure, so you get to write it as you go along. I hope you will fill your book with stories of you fearlessly challenging yourself as you explore new gifts and talents and growing in faith and friendship in your relationship with God and the people around you.
