Four young friends were playing together one evening, when they came up with the idea of making and selling bracelets for charity. The girls, in Grades 1, 2 and 3, at Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School in St. Catharines, planned out the entire endeavour, and spoke with their teacher and principal about selling them every Friday during lunch.
In just four weeks, the girls raised $400, and donated it to the Canadian Cancer Society on February 15. Cancer is a cause that is close to their heart, as a student at the school is currently battling cancer.
We are very proud of Samantha Corcoran, Macie Lagrotteria, Tessa Lagrotteria and Julia Corcoran for truly living their faith and doing something to help others.Good News
