Co-op and Youth Apprenticeship Programs

Whether they are bound for university, college, apprenticeship or the workplace, the Cooperative Education program gives students the opportunity to learn and develop the essential skills and work habits required for success in all types of workplaces. Students acquire practical experience and develop valuable knowledge and skills in a workplace setting that suits their strengths, interests and goals. This program helps students prepare for their future after graduation and in making informed career decisions.

The co-op course consists of the following sections:

  • pre-placement (in-class)
  • integration (in-class)
    • workplacement (on site)

Students may earn:

  • 2-Credit Co-Op Package (220 Hours) –  half day – morning or afternoon
  • 4-Credit Co-Op Package (440 Hours) – full day
