Saint Paul Students Elected to District Key Club Executive

Congratulations to Saint Paul Catholic High School students Lavinia Chu, Agnes Lee, Julia Leone, Ally Niewuesteeg and Bhavika Patel, who will serve as members of the Eastern Canada District Key Club Executive for 2014-2015.

The girls were elected at the recent District Convention, which took place in Charlottetown, P.E.I. in April.

Bhavika will serve as Lt. Governor for the Eastern Canada District, Julia and Ally will serve as Co-Presidents and Agnes and Lavinia will serve as Co-Vice-Presidents. They follow in the footsteps of fellow Patriots outgoing President and Vice-President, Soo Kim and President Gabbie Pangan.

The girls are excellent examples of the way students in our Catholic schools are called to transform social systems based on the Gospel of Christ. As members of the Key Club (a service club for high school students Kiwanis International), they are motivated to Say Something, Do Something and Be Something through servant leadership.

Through the Key Club, Saint Paul has raised $1,500 for the Eliminate Project, which aims to stamp out maternal and neo-natal tetanus around the globe and another $300 for Kids Against Hunger.
